Diminishing Effect on the Grace of God - the cause

THE DISCUSSION BETWEEN TWO GHOSTS

Ghost 1: How did you die??
Ghost 2: I was mistakenly locked up in a refrigerator. At first, i was chilling, then, i
started freezing, and then, i couldn't
breathe again... i died of suffocation.
Ghost 1: Wow.... what a sad way to die.
Ghost 2: Yeah. How did u die?
Ghost 1: I died of heart attack.
Ghost 2: What happened?
Ghost 1: My wife cheated on me. i came back home and saw a man's pair ofshoes.
then, i rushed to the bedroom and met only my wife there. She was naked. i knew
there was a man in the house coz my neighbor
told me. and the man was still in the house as
my wife was undressed and scared. so, i started running and searching the whole
house. i searched in the kid's room,
kitchen, toilet, bathroom, wardrobe and dinning. i
couldn't find him and i was very tired of running, so i got a heart attack.
Ghost 2: IDIOT!!!! If you had

alive by now!!!

FAST AND PRAY WITHOUT MAKING A REQUEST
Virtually everyone likes to fast and pray: God bless me, God grant me promotion, God I need you to prosper me, God do this and that for me. Na wa o. Always asking for material things. Almost everyone of us is guilty of this. Yes na, all of us na human we be sha.
Do not forget his command that says: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and every other thing shall be added unto you.
Remember that popular song: Seek ye first o, the kingdom of God o, and his righteousness o, the rest na jara, House na jara, wife na jara, money na jara. and his righteousness o, the rest na jara,
However, we can also set aside a day, once in a while to fast and pray to God Almighty for spiritual things:
- You may decide to fast and pray for God's grace to live above sin and above satanic oppression.
- You may fast and pray for God to use you as an instrument here on earth in whichever way it
pleases him via the gifts of the holy spirit, especially in touching lives and in saving souls.

A man and his wife quarrelled. After the fight, the wife went into the bedroom. A few minutes later, the husband also trooped into the bedroom only to find the wife busy packing her suitcase! He asked "You are packing! Where are you going?" She answered "To my mother"
The man paused for a while and also got his big brown pure leather suitcase & started packing his clothes. The angry wife stared at him and said "You are packing! Where are you going?" He replied "Oh yeah! I"m going to my mother!"

Your Husband or Wife May not Be Right All the Time
There are certain occasions when your husband or wife may not be right in their decisions or advice to you.
How do you ascertain if he or she may be right.
First of all you must consider if the advice made is acceptable to God and aligns with God's precepts/principles.
A critical and well known example is Job's wife, when she asked her husband (Job) to cause God and die. To the best of her knowledge she felt the situation has gone beyound control and that was the ultimate thing for her husband to do, so that he does not suffer any more from the affliction while living.
However, Job considered such as evil. He trusted God in good times and bad times.
In fact his faith brought him back to life that he was blessed in seven fold.........

Is God Proud of You???
For God to be proud of you, you must be a true representative of Him here on earth.
- You must be a man who fear God
- You must run away from evil
- Hate what God hates and embrace what God loves
- Your actions must not be to please man, but to please God
God was proud of Job that he boasted about him before satan.
Note: For you to be a man that God is proud of does not mean temptation will not come your way.
In fact, it is this temptation/trial that will determine whether you are still for God or against him.
Job, despite the gravity of his affliction/trial remained focused. He still feared God. Even when he was advised by his wife to cause God and die, he did not yield to her to please her knowing well that such attitude will not please God.
Other examples are Joseph, Ruth, Esther, Dorcas, Daniel, Shedrack, Mishack and Abednego, etc

Are you aware that the ability to
control one’s mouth is a key factor in growing and maintaining a good
life.
Proper worship and a good lifestyle
acceptable to God demands that our words be few always. A wise man listens more, and speaks
less.
On several occasions we consciously
or unconsciously speak filthy and irrelevant words, and with the same mouth we
call on God (in prayers). Practical examples of how we speak filthy words are
when we rain abuses on fellow human especially when driving on the road in this part of the
world and you consciously or unconsciously say filthy words like “you are mad”,
“idiot”, “stupid man/woman”. Sometimes,
we even say these filthy words when driving to our places of prayer.
Contrarily, we now see this as a lifestyle in the land, but it is wise to realize on time that this lifestyle is not godly. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let
every man be swift to hear, slow to speak….”
James 1:19.
Always think before you speak and let your words be few, be
