WHY MUST I GIVE TO GOD AND TO MAN?

Genesis 4:3

In the course of time Cain brought to the LORD an offering of the fruit of the ground,

Genesis 4:4

and Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the LORD had regard for Abel and his offering,

Genesis 4:5

but for Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell.

Genesis 4:6

The LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen?

Genesis 4:7

If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it."

Any money you drop in the house of God in whatever name, be it  tithe, offering,  harvest, seed etc is never a loss, you definitely get your reward because God is not a man that will cheat on you especially when you give cheerfully. It is always better to give to God than to give to the devil in hospitals and unnecessary spending.

Abraham prepared his only son to be sacrificed to God knowing the power of giving.

King David used his most valuable materials like gold etc to build for God and till date he is the richest king ever.

Do not ever regret offering or giving to God. Moreover,  a man is also blessed when he/she gives to Men of God or to fellow men/women, especially those in need who are not in the position to pay back.  

Give, and it shall be given unto you. Good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into thy bosom. For with the same measure the ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38 (KJV).

E get one particular restaurant wey i dey go chop 4 G.R.A. E get one oyinbo wey dey always come chop there too...Anytime dis oyinbo chop finish, he go shout ''Hey'', so I wonder wetin dey make am shout. I decided to chop wetin d oyinbo dey always chop so maybe me self go shout too. When I reach d restaurant yesterday evening, I order wetin d man dey chop. Dem tell me say na chicken & red wine, so i chop am finish, i no shout. I collect extra plate, but i no still shout. I say dis oyinbo na mumu o, wetin dey make am shout like dat? Na so i just vex ask 4 my bill. The waiter tell me say one plate of chicken & red wine na N75,000 then d extra plate too na another N75,000. Na then I shout hey! heyy!! heyyy!!!  heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yyyyyyyyyyyy..........Up till now, I still dey shout .... No laugh alone make someone laugh with u.

Where are those people that trekked from Lagos to Abuja when APC won .....we need them to trek to London to confirm something for us.

Every artiste must not & will never blow no matter the amount of promo or hype.

Just find your place of purpose & value.
It might be in your local church, community, city, region & certain people, yet you are busy looking outside & envying other artiste & churches. Today apostolic, tomorrow Mount Zion & next tomorrow Catholic. You only see how Christ Embassy produces all top artiste in the country yet you can not see your place of value, Fulfillment & purpose. #bestable

You are busy abusing, insulting & blaming your church & pastors for not promoting & supporting you yet you don't have what they can boldly support & promote, you don't have stability & respect. You dont have direction of where you are going & what you really want to do.

My dear music ministry is not abt packaging, stop packaging what you don't have inside, for you to sing already established & popular songs does not make you a good singer or show what you get.

You only copy to become & what happen when those music fades out or find urslf at where the original owners of the songs are? I have attended a concert with a major artist & he said to me, sir this boys don sing every popular songs finish ooo, chei wetin I go sing again. Imagine .

Music ministry is not about wearing jump suit, starch shirts with rose, for the ladies it's not Abt make up, big rose on ur dress, it's not Abt somebody lift up ur hands, let's worship, let's worship.

There is a sacrifies, hard work, seed sowing, followership, Mentorship, learning, practise, humility, loyalty, strategic planning, spirituality, prayers, Target & execution.

A LIST OF THINGS YOU NEED TO TEACH YOUR CHILD(REN)

HERE IS A LIST OF THINGS YOU NEED TO TEACH YOUR CHILD(REN) AT EARLY AGE :-

1: Warn your Girl Child Never to sit on anyone's laps no matter the situation including uncles.

2: Avoid Getting Dressed in front of your child once he/she is 2 years old. Learn to excuse them or yourself.

3. Never allow any adult refer to your child as 'my wife' or 'my husband'

4. Whenever your child goes out to play with friends make sure you look for a way to find out what kind of play they do, because young people now sexually abuse themselves.

5. Never force your child to visit any adult he or she is not comfortable with and also be observant if your child becomes too fond of a particular adult.

6. Once a very lively child suddenly becomes withdrawn you may need to patiently ask lots of questions from your child.

7. Carefully educate your grown ups about the right values of sex . If you don't, the society will teach them the wrong values.

8: It is always advisable you go through any new Material like cartoons you just bought for them before they start seeing it (sex clips) themselves.

9. Ensure you activate parental controls on your cable networks and advice your friends especially those your child(ren) visit(s) often.

10. Teach your 3 year olds how to wash their private parts properly and warn them never to allow anyone touch those areas and that includes you (remember, charity begins from home and with you).

11: Blacklist some materials/associates you think could threaten the sanity of your child (this includes music, movies and even friends and families).

12. Let your child(ren) understand the value of standing out of the crowd.

13: Once your child complains about a particular person, don't keep quiet about it. Take up the case and show them you can defend them.

Remember, we are either parents or parents-to-be and remember. What you teach your child(ren) also teach other children.

When Somebody Says I Hate You, What Will Be Your Reaction

6 years ago a guy looked at me face to face, and boldly told me; "I don't like you!"

I immediately fired a response, I asked him that day; "Thank you for the honest feedback, but those you like, how has it made their life better? How does your liking people pay their bills or take a bank loan? My brother keep your like, I need God's like and that's what guarantees my future.

Today I joined a CEO friend of mine in an interview Panel to recruit some new staff, it was a long session, as we returned from a tea break to continue the hectic interview session, here was this same guy, walked in with his grey jacket and CV coming for the interview.

Our eyes kissed by fluke, we immediately recognised each other; "the world is indeed spherical", I soliloquized.

He felt very uncomfortable through out the interview, one could clearly see the volcanic eruption ongoing in his whole nervous system, he even mistook his date of birth for his last date of employment. It wasn't yet my turn to ask him questions so I allowed everyone to take their turns with him and deliberately opted to interview him last.

When it got to my turn, the first thing I said was, "I LIKE YOU so much, you look to me like a brilliant and intelligent person, but it seems you are not doing well now because something bothers you, true?"

"That's very correct Sir!" He responded.

"Ok look at me straight in the eye, I was never offended that day, it is very normal that sometimes as humans you just don't like certain people, but I wasn't bothered either, because whether you liked me or not, it was inconsequential to my life and my success path - as you can see, fate has brought you to my lair"

I stood up and beckoned him to come and embrace me, everyone on the panel at this point were at sea - wondering if we had expeditiously recast an interview session to a Hollywood movie scene.

He hugged me so long and deeply that I felt it. Then I told him, "now get your confidence back bro and answer the questions like a Pro Shark that you are, we all burst into laughter, everyone suddenly liked him and the room became livelier - the interview became more like a discussion, well to cut the long story short, he got the job!

Lessons:

1. Be careful how you treat people when they appear to be in their vulnerable state, your next level may be hanging in their balance;  somewhere in the future.

2. If you dislike someone, it is not their fault, it is YOUR FAULT, work on yourself to find good in people and reinvent your Mind to see everyone as likeable.

3. Don't spew hatred vocally just because it came into your heart, you may say it to someone who will keep it forever and use it against you when you find yourself in your own low moments and need them.

4. Learn to forgive, overlook people's dislike and hatred for you, don't punish people just because you have the position and privilege to do so, bless them rather - that's how you court God's blessings, favour and protection.

scarce, let the QUEEN in you come alive, and your husband will

I am just not too comfortable with too many posts that make Christians look helpless before the devil.
Prayer points like:"anybody trying to hide your destiny, anybody who say you will not succeed must die,who soever is manipulating your stars,should go mad.and many more such like prayer that make people suspect someone somewhere is doing them.
I want to state here that this is not the gospel. It rather make people live in fear and cannot live a dominion life made possible for us in Christ. You cannot continue your Christian life on this kind of feeding bottle, daycare christian experience.
Pastors should stop making church folks enemy conscious instead of teaching them about their authority in christ.
come you are bigger than this.
Do you know what you carry inside you?the Greater one.
Have you ever heard this?"no weapon form against you shall prosper... "
"There's no enchantment against...... Nor any divination against....."
The enemy is not your problem, you are their problem.
Where we are seated is far above principalities and powers.
You are more than conqueror.
Stop fasting for freedom, channel that fasting to soul winning,personal Faith development and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, getting to know Him better.Fast and pray for souls tobe saved and  expansion of God's kingdom.
Stay long in the truth and liberate your mind from wrong mentality.
You are the light of the world,that light shines in darkness.... So how can wicked works of darkness come close to light.
We only have defeated enemy, who also knows he is helpless before us,the devil.
Nobody is your enemy, those supposing enemies, some folks pray against to die are supposed tobe souls we are supposed to pray for their salvation.
So many agents of darkness who worked wickedness for Satan before,so many of them are pastors today preaching the gospel.So if die by fire prayer had killed them,how will they be useful to the kingdom today.
All these die,die,prayer is not making Christians walk in love towards the lost.
Nobody can block your destiny, nobody can hide your star.what you carry is more powerful than what the over all master devil claim to have,let alone what is in all these small apprentice demons.
The church is not and cannot be helpless before a man who was defeated more than 2000yrs ago.
The gates of hell cannot, cannot, cannot prevail against the church.
Let us teach people the Truth.

How to Treat People According to Your Nature Not Theirs

Good Morning my friends!
What's Your Nature?

A wise old man was sitting at the river bank.

He saw a cat that had fallen into the river struggling to save itself from drowning.

The man decided to save the cat. He stretched out his hand towards the cat but the cat scratched him. He pulled his hand back in pain.

However, a few minutes later he stretched out his hand again to save the cat, but it scratched him again, and again he pulled his hand back in pain.

A few minutes later he was again trying for the third time!!

A man, who was nearby watching what was happening, yelled out, "O wise man, you have not learned your lesson the first time, nor the second time, and now you are trying to save the cat a third time?"

The wise man paid no heed to that man's scolding, and kept on trying until he managed to save the cat.

He then walked over to the man, and patted his shoulder saying:, "My son... it is in the cat's nature to scratch, and it is in my nature to love and have sympathy. Did you want me to let the cat's nature overcome mine?

Treat  people according to your nature, not according to theirs, no matter what they are like and no matter how numerous their actions that harm you and cause you pain sometimes. And do not pay heed to all the voices that loudly call out to you to leave behind your good qualities merely because the other party is not deserving of your noble actions. So never regret the moments you gave happiness to someone, even if that person did not deserve it.

Jesus treats us according to His nature, just think where we would be if He were to treat us as per our  nature... That is why He saves us in spite of ourselves.

MAN SHOTS WIFE DEAD! WHO IS TO BE BLAMED?

A SINCERE APOLOGY:

A man received this message from his neighbour...
"Sorry sir, I have been using your wife day and night when you are not at home, in fact, much more than you do.
I confess this now because I am feeling very guilty. Hope you will accept my sincere apologies."

Immediately after reading the message, the man shot his wife dead.

A few minutes later, he received another message:
"Sorry sir, a spelling mistake...
I meant Wifi. not Wife."

Who is to be blamed here for the wife's death?
The husband or the neighbour who sent in the wrong spelling without editing his message?

SEE HOW GOD SAVES HIS CHILDREN FROM DEATH UNKNOWN TO THEM

My name is Vivian. Few months ago, I graduated from the university. On my way back home, i went to the park & got a bus. While waiting for other passengers, I had this strange urge to urinate. It was so  strong that it felt like I was going to mess my dress if I didn't ease myself immediately. I had to leave my seat and look 
for the toilet/ bathroom in the park to ease myself. When I got back, a man had taken over my seat. He
dumped the book I left there on another seat. We argued & argued but it wasn't yielding any result for the man
appeared troublesome from the way he talked. I got tired and gave up. I sat exactly where he dumped my book.
Shortly after, the driver took off. On our way, we had a very terrible accident. The impact from the crash made me faint.

While I was unconscious, I saw myself crying by the road side; then this man in white came to me. I couldn't see his face very well but I remembered all what he said to me while I was still unconscious. When I regained consciousness. I noticed that someone had died in the bus that day; The man who took over my seat was killed by a metal that pierced through his chest. When I realized that I would have been the dead one,

I remembered the message a man gave me. He said: '' MANY ARROWS OF DEATH & MISFORTUNE HAVE BEEN FIRED YOUR WAY BUT THEY WILL ALL PASS OVER YOU.

If the trumpet sounds today where will you be? If you die without Christ you will regret it.  

The man who died in the passage never knew that journey will be the end of his life.  No body really knows tomorrow. So do not wait for tomorrow. You can make it today.

Jesus is coming soon.

Not Even the Devil Can Call Him Late Christ

Michael Jackson died few years ago they call him late Jackson. Yaradua died few years ago they call him late yaradua. Mandela died few years back, they say late Mandela.

But since over 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ  died and no body dared, not even the devil to call him late Christ .. Glory be to God in the highest!

He lives! He reigns!! He rules!!! Forever and ever. ...

No more pain. Your shame is over. You shall live no more in fear, your sins are forgiven. He has carried away your judgement. Your sorrows He has taken away. He has bought for you eternal freedom through the shedding of His blood. Your condemnation is over. Your celebration is here, your victory is certain. He defeated death for your sake, the grips of the grave has been broken over you. Your accusers has been disgraced. Hallelujah!!!! The son of God has paid all your debts. By the reason of redemption you're blessed in Jesus name Amen.

IF ONLY SHE KNEW SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN PATIENT

Two weeks ago, I was about to prepare lunch for my family, when I took out a fresh Titus fish from the freezer.

Suddenly my daughter who stood by watching, started crying and demanding that I give her the fish to eat. I Kept trying to tell her in my own way that the fish was raw, I needed to spice it up, cook and then take out the bones so it can be ready for consumption, but my toddler wouldn't hear but chose to cry louder and even fell to the ground and no one was able to comfort her.

I decided to ignore her, went ahead to do what was right and when it was ready, she had her fish and didn't even remember all the drama she had put up.

But the Holy Spirit ministered to me that this is how many of us cry for a blessing that is not yet ready. God is saying am spicing it up, cooking it and taking out the bones so you don't get choked.

If only my little daughter knew, she would have waited patiently instead of being anxious. (Phil.4:6)

God is saying to someone here that you should be anxious for nothing, Be still and know that I am God I am spicing up that blessing so you will enjoy to the fullest.

Wait on the Lord! (Is.40:31) Like Job said..All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my change comes. (Job 14:14)

Change is coming, Help is on the way.

I Almost Fell Victim..

Parents, please monitor your children often to be sure they still know their spellings and grammar.

Technology is good but on the contrary the rate at which incorrect spellings are found especially in sms is becoming very alarming. The truth is that our young ones are beginning to adapt and take these wrong spellings as correct.

I must confess that I almost fell victim in an exam I wrote recently. I kept on writing "dat" instead of "that" only to speedily correct myself when I was reading over my pages. Imagine, I suddenly became used to "dat".

The Wealthy Man and His Only Son

This is a great story. Take a moment to read it; I Pray it will make your day!

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art..

When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.


About a month later, just before Christmas,


There was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands..


He said, 'Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. The father

Opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture.. 'Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a gift.'


The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.


The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection.


On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. 'We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?'


There was silence...



Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, 'We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one.'

But the auctioneer persisted 'Will somebody bid for this painting? Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?'
Another voice angrily. 'We didn't come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Gogh's, the Rembrandts. Get on with the Real bids!'

But still the auctioneer continued. 'The son! The son! Who'll take the son?'
Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. 'I'll give $10 for the painting...' Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.

'We have $10, who will bid $20?'
'Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters.'

The crowd was becoming angry They didn't want the picture of the son.


They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.

The auctioneer pounded the gavel.. 'Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!'

A man sitting on the second row shouted, 'Now let's get on with the collection!'

The auctioneer laid down his gavel. 'I'm sorry, the auction is over.'

'What about the paintings?'

'I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will... I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings.

The man who took the son gets everything!'

God gave His son over 2,000 years ago to die on the Cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is: 'The Son, the Son, who'll take the Son?'

Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything!

Virtually everyone likes to fast and pray: God bless me, God grant me promotion, God I need you to prosper me, God do this and that for me. Na wa o. Always asking for material things. Almost everyone of us is guilty of this.  Yes na, all of us na human we be sha.

Do not forget his command that says:  Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and every other thing shall be added unto you.

For God to be proud of you, you must be a true representative of Him here on earth.
-   You must be a man who fear God
-   You must run away from evil
-   Hate what God hates and embrace what God loves
-   Your actions must not be to please man, but to please God

God was proud of Job that he boasted about him before satan.

Note: For you to be a man that God is proud of does not mean temptation will not come your way.
In fact, it is this temptation/trial that will determine whether you are still for God or against him.
Job, despite the gravity of his affliction/trial remained focused. He still feared God. Even when he was advised by his wife to cause God and die, he did not yield to her to please her knowing well that such attitude will not please God.

Are you aware that the ability to control one’s mouth is a key factor in growing and maintaining a good life. 

Proper worship and a good lifestyle acceptable to God demands that our words be few always.  A wise man listens more, and speaks less.

On several occasions we consciously or unconsciously speak filthy and irrelevant words, and with the same mouth we call on God (in prayers). Practical examples of how we speak filthy words are when we rain abuses on fellow human especially when driving on the road in this part of the world and you consciously or unconsciously say filthy words like “you are mad”, “idiot”, “stupid man/woman”.  Sometimes, we even say these filthy words when driving to our places of prayer. 

Contrarily, we now see this as a lifestyle in the land, but it is wise to realize on time that this lifestyle is not godly.  Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak….”  James 1:19. 

Always think before you speak and let your words be few, be you a priest or the ordinary man/woman in the street, we are all godly men.
